The evaluation of the eligible applications submitted for Session I - 2009 of the Translation and Publication Support Programme (deadline March 20th 2009) was held betweeen May 15 - 18, 2009. The independent board of experts was made up of Jaroslaw Godun (Director, Polish Institute), Ioana Grünwald (Director, German Book Centre), Simona Sora (literary critic), Livia Szasz (Editorial Director, Leda Publishing House, member of Corint Publishing Group) and Al. Şahighian (translator).
24 publishing houses from 11 countries (Bulgaria, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia Spain, Switzerland, USA) will receive subventions with a total approximate value of 122 454 EUR.
