The representatives of several book centres and European foundations will be reuniting in Bucharest, between 18 - 21.06.2009, at the invitation of the Romanian Cultural Institute, through the National Book Centre, and together with Literature Across Frontiers (LAF - Great Britain).
Throughout the four days the guests will be attending workshops and meetings with Romanian publishers and translators, and on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 13:00, within the Bookfest Book Fair, in the "Agora" discussion area, LAF and CEATL will be presenting their reports on the book markets and translations in Central and Eastern Europe between 2005 - 2008. These reports have been presented in Brussels and at the international book fairs in Great Britain and the Czech Republic. Speakers: Alexandra Büchler, director Literature Across Frontiers and Jaqcueline Csuss, secretary general CEATL.
