The Second Edition of The International Poetry Festival “Oskar Pastior”, Sibiu, 2008



20 authors from 11 countries shall participate, between 2-5 October 2008, in the Second Edition of the International Poetry Festival „Oskar Pastior” in Sibiu.

The Romanian audience will have the opportunity to attend readings and debates held by Urs Allemann (Switzerland), Petr Borkovec (The Czech Republic), Inger Christensen (Denmark), Franz Josef Czernin (Austria), Jean Daive (France), Mircea Dinescu (Romania), Erwin Einzinger (Austria), Elke Erb (Germany), Antanas Gailius (Lithuania), Mugur Grosu (Romania), Mariusz Grzebalski (Poland), Christian Hawkey (USA), Felix Philipp Ingold (Switzerland), Andrzej Kopacki (Poland), Vasile Leac (Romania), Herta Müller (Germany), Monika Rinck (Germany), Ana Ristovic (Serbia), Ulf Stolterfoht (Germany), Uljana Wolf (Germany). The festival will end with a double concert held by M. A. Numminen (Finland) and Ada Milea (Romania).

With the second edition of the festival we are glad to launch the anthology of last year’s festival, published by Art Publishing House, which includes the authors invited to the 2007 edition: Urs Allemann (Switzerland), Mircea Cărtărescu (Romania), Bora Čosič (Croatia), Caius Dobrescu (Romania), Oswald Egger (Austria), Nora Iuga (Romania), Mirela Ivanova (Bulgaria), Michael Donhauser (Austria), Bodo Hell (Austria), Ryszard Krynicki (Poland), Ulf Stolterfoht (Germany), Matthew Sweeney (Ireland), Aleš Šteger (Slovenia), Michèle Métail (France), Herta Müller (Germany), Raphael Urweider (Switzerland) and Otto Tolnái (Hungary/Serbia).
The anthology is bilingual (Romanian/German), it includes introductory texts signed by Horia-Roman Patapievici, Herta Müller and Ernest Wichner and is edited by Corina Bernic
